Want to know more about our Sunday School curriculums?
As of the Fall of 2011, we are in Year Four of our Six year curriculum. The Junior High is studying God’s Grace in You, and the Senior High is studying Understanding God’s Word.
Note: This curriculum is the wonderful fruit of the combined efforts of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA) and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), two excellent denominations. In case you haven’t noticed, we here at First Baptist Church, while not being the first Baptists, are still certainly Baptists. As such, when we get to the topics of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism, though we will respectfully and lovingly present the differences between the Baptist (ordinance) and Presbyterian (sacrament) views, we will faithfully set forth what we believe the Bible to teach (i.e. the ordinance view).
